Flying Sauces

The world’s first fine dining zipline experience, Flying Sauces takes diners along a 200-metre zipline route through the leafy jungle to Soneva Fushi’s treetop table and open kitchen – at 12 metres above the ground. The menu is expertly paired with a selection of wines from the island’s extensive cellars, which house the largest collection of wines and Champagnes in the Indian Ocean. 

Out of the Blue

A two-storey overwater structure featuring five unique dining outlets, Out of the Blue is exactly what its name suggests - unpredictable. Feast on the creations of top chefs from around the world in intimate settings - from delicious grilled meats and seafood to teppanyaki to sushi and secret menus conjured by Michelin-starred chefs. You can choose to sit undercover or on the open deck, upstairs or downstairs, for unimpeded views in all directions.

Shades of Green

Surrounded by the vibrant colours and luscious scents that fill the air, the entirely plant-based Shades of Green is set within Soneva Fushi’s organic island gardens, taking diners on an immersive culinary journey that ignites all the senses. Curated by Danish chef Carsten Kyster, each menu features six simple yet innovative dishes that showcase the finest seasonal vegetables, salads, fruits, and herbs cultivated at Soneva Fushi.

Fresh in the Garden

Dine 13 feet above the resort’s gardens, where the seductive aromas of the herbs float from below. A tree-house inspired location, Fresh in the Garden’s central open kitchen gives you front-row seats to the action. You can choose to sit under cover or beneath the starry night sky. Its current menu by Chef Manu celebrates the ecological connection between land, sea, minerals, roots, fruits and animals, and the transformational power of food.

Recommended 5-Day Culinary Vacation at Soneva Fushi

Day 1:

  • Arrival at Soneva Fushi Maldives and check-in to your luxurious villa.
  • Enjoy a welcome dinner at the resort's signature restaurant, Mihiree Mithaa, which offers a fusion of Maldivian and international cuisine.

Day 2:

  • Start your day with a cooking class at the resort's organic garden, where you will learn to prepare traditional Maldivian dishes using freshly harvested ingredients.
  • For lunch, dine on a delectable pasta menu at the circular live cooking station at Pasta Counter
  • In the evening, head to the Flying Sauces to experience the world’s first fine dining zipline experience.

Day 3:

  • Enjoy a private beach picnic for lunch, where you can savor a gourmet meal while soaking in the sun and sea views.
  • Indulge your sweet tooth with over 60 rotating flavours of homemade ice creams and sorbets at So Cool.
  • In the evening, take part in a wine tasting session at the resort's underground wine cellar, featuring a collection of over 7,000 bottles.

Day 4:

  • Start the day with a cooking class featuring Thai cuisine, led by the resort's expert Thai chefs.
  • For lunch, indulge in sushi at So Hands On, where you can also learn to make sushi from the world’s best sushi masters.
  • In the evening, savour a seafood dinner at Fresh in the Garden, a restaurant set in the midst of the resort's organic garden.

Day 5:

  • Relax and unwind with a leisurely breakfast in bed or at the resort's breakfast restaurant, Mihiree Mithaa.
  • Before departing the resort, enjoy a farewell lunch at Out of the Blue, a seafood restaurant perched over the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean.
