Introduced in 2018, The Muraka is a first-of-its-kind, luxury two-level residence with a master bedroom submerged over 16 feet below sea level in the Indian Ocean. One of the world’s most exclusive residences, The Muraka’s upper level features two bedrooms and a bathroom with ocean-facing tub, an outdoor deck with infinity pool, and private 24-hour butler service. Down a spiral staircase, the underwater level includes a master bedroom with 180-degree curved acrylic dome, floor-to-ceiling windows in the bathroom and walk-in closet, and a dedicated tunnel viewing theatre.

Ithaa, meaning ‘mother of pearl’ in Dhivehi, was sunk five metres below the Indian Ocean’s surface in 1995. The restaurant's curved acrylic walls offer a spectacular 180-degree panoramic view of a coral garden inhabited by rich and vibrant marine life. The set lunch and dinner menus showcase local flavours blended with Western influences and mid-morning cocktails. Ithaa can also be reserved for private dining, weddings and special occasions.

The first of its kind in the Maldives, The Wine Cellar descends two metres underground where 18,000 bottles of wine and up to 800 labels are expertly preserved. To celebrate wine both old world wines and new champions wines, 30% of the wine list is changed annually to reflect the latest fashion. Here is the setting for your six-course, paired degustation menu. To add on, the menu is paired with seven hand-picked wines and one Champagne skillfully matched by the resort’s Chef de Cuisine and Head Sommelier. One of the evening’s highlights includes a blind tasting of two wines during the main course.
